Senior executive attendees will participate in two separate 45” interactive mini workshops during the conference. Topics were developed by SHSMD’s Executive Strategies Committee. During each session, an expert speaker will briefly tee up a hot topic, and then each table of participants will engage in discussion to address key questions, followed by large group report out.
Topics for 2023 are: 1) Site of Care Shifts; and 2) Predicting Market Disruptors.

Sunrise Session time slots offer the least amount of competing activities and opposing presentations to help secure a highly engaged audience. Plus breakfast will attract a crowd! (Up to three concurrent Sunrise Sessions on Monday & Tuesday.)

Present your company’s case study in front of industry decision-makers during a 20–minute sponsored session on the Exhibit Hall Floor. Sponsors have the option to include recorded presentation for virtual conference (this option will be recorded and submitted by sponsor). Collateral seat drop available upon request.

Executive Dialogue attracts a senior audience to discuss a topic of the sponsor’s choosing. During this invitation-only event, facilitated by a SHSMD-approved moderator, the sponsor will gain industry insights and make new connections with a small (5-7 attendees) and engaged group. A representative from the sponsoring company receives a seat at the table for the event which is held over a private breakfast, break or lunch. The event will be summarized in a 5-page e-book/PDF with an opportunity for the sponsor to be featured and quoted. The sponsor’s logo will appear on the cover and a description of the company will be included in the e-book/PDF. The e-book will be hosted on the SHSMD/AHA website for 12 months, will be distributed to SHSMD members and AHA audiences directly, and featured in the AHA Today and SHSMD NewsScan newsletters. The sponsor will receive rights to post the e-book/PDF on its website and/or distribute it to others.

This fun event will take place in the exhibit hall on Monday from 5:10 – 6:30 pm and will celebrate everything Chicago. Host a specialty drink or unique food item in your booth to draw traffic and spark conversation. Menu choices to be provided by SHSMD. Sponsors and their specialty item will be recognized on signage in the Exhibit Hall.

This program is designed to increase traffic to the booth and provide attendees an incentive to visit participating booths. Put your unique stamp on the program by supplying your prize for the drawing ($100+ value).
How Pathway to Prizes works:
1. Each attendee will receive a Pathway to Prizes handout with their registration materials.
2. Attendees will be instructed to stop by each participating exhibiting company’s booth to receive a “stamp” Pathway to Prizes handout.
3. Attendees must fill in the entire Pathway to Prizes handout in order to be eligible for the drawing held on Tuesday just before the exhibit hall closes.
Member Meet Ups
Member Meet Ups allow members to connect, discuss, and solve real-world problems affecting the health care field and professionals today.
After the breakout discussion/activity, the sponsor may provide a 500-word blog post summarizing the event which will be posted on shsmd.org and available to the full SHSMD member community.
